The temple is also known for the sarcophagus of Prophet Lebioda, whose remnants are sometimes being bringed out of the coffin to being kissed by worshippers during some holidays.[2]

Built of marble, the Gran Tempio del Fuoco Eterno, commonly nicknamed as Grand Picket, lies in the centre of the city. Yore it had been the elven mansion, it was extended by human settlers.
According to a legend, when first colonists were visiting the abandoned town, they saw the strange glow emanating from one of palaces. Inside they met an individual sitting near the great bowl of fire. Being asked about his personality, answered: I guard the Eternal Fire; as long as it will flame in this place, so long this city and your kin will endure - and then he disappeared.

Il Tempio is located on the Isola del Tempio. Though it dominates the view of Novigrad, the interiors are unexplorable.
