Il laboratorio dei Witcher holds their most closely guarded secrets: mutagenic plants, hallucinogenic mushrooms, natural stimulants and potion ingredients. It is here that young apprentices, like Leo are subjected to the fabled Prova dell'erba, which only a few survived.
It is this laboratory which is pillaged by the Salamandra organization, apparentlty led by a misterioso mago in the Prologo of the game. Leo meets his end at the hands of il Professore there and Triss Merigold is nearly killed defending it.
