In Patch 1.12.1, this letter could be looted from a skeleton on the scaffolding inside the vecchia torre di segnalazione, next to the chest containing the Wolf School armor diagrams in Valle di Kaer Morhen. Also on the skeleton is the relic sword Rimorso di coscienza.
